An article on the front page of the Independent Star New on August 6th, 2026 suggested that there is widespread surface level contamination at Badger. The Alliance submitted a Letter to the Editor of the Independent Star News on September 6th, 2026 expressing our disappointment that the story failed to put hazards in context.
